I like to work with a brand for at least 6 months to really start to see the impact, and ideally 12 months to get the full benefit. That said, every contract includes a 3-month break clause, so you're never locked in for longer than that at a time. Relationships often run well beyond the initial term, I've worked with one client for 4 years.
